1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  • In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.

  • In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar for coating.

  • Scoop dough into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.

  • Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
