Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6–8 oz each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest (from 2 lemons)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions

Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Pound thicker ends slightly for even thickness.

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, and oregano.

Rub seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

Place chicken in a single layer in the basket. Cook for 9 minutes.

Flip chicken and cook an additional 6–9 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Remove and rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure proper air circulation.
Use a meat thermometer for perfectly juicy results.
For deeper flavor, marinate chicken in seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking.
Add extra fresh lemon zest before serving for enhanced citrus aroma.
