Ingredients

For the Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wings:
2 pounds chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)
1 tablespoon aluminum-free baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Buffalo Sauce:
½ cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

For the Blue Cheese Dip:
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 small garlic clove, grated
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.

  • In a bowl, combine baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

  • Toss wings with seasoning mixture until evenly coated. Drizzle with olive oil and mix again.

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

  • Arrange wings in a single layer in the basket. Do not overcrowd.

  • Air fry at 400°F for 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy (internal temperature 165°F).

  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Stir in hot sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until glossy.

  • Toss hot wings in Buffalo sauce until evenly coated.

  • Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, blue cheese, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Fold in chives.
